Maria Brink

 Maria Brink (born December 18 1977) is an American artist and singer most famously known as the frontwoman of the group In This Moment. The band has gone through seven studio albums and earn four nominations. Two came from Alternative Press Music Awards, one from Grammy Awards, and one from the Loudwire Music Awards.Brink has been recognized as "Rock Goddess of the Year" in the third (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards, "Hottest Chick in Metal" in 2010and was named one of the eleven females in metal heavy who are important by Yell! Revolver Magazine named Brink one of the "25 Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock & Metal" in 2012. When she turned 25 years old, she moved to California. old and moved to Los Angeles to search for an opportunity to join a band. She worked in stores, sang in bars and also performed in cafes. In 2004, she met current band member Chris Howorth at an audition.At first, Howorth rebuked Brink because she was a woman. Howorth apologized two weeks later and hired Brink to be his singer. They formed Dying Star together with Jeff Fabb drummer. Then, Blake Bunzel, guitarist, and Josh Newell, bassist joined the group. The group was later renamed In This Moment.
