Swallow received her Master of Arts in Acting at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Swallow has played the roles of both the bad and good guys on television and films. She played a police detective in Ringer, a detective's wife on Southland as well as a bounty-hunter in CBS' pilot The Odds and a bank burglar in Medium. Swallow also appeared as a female mermaid, as a mermaid, in Flight of the Conchords.
