Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for The One Direction band. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. He always showed an interest in music, but he wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapist. He worked in an area bakery on a part-time basis in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. This was the reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010, and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which allowed them to become the top contenders for winning the competition. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
