Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish. Parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. After 16 she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
